Aqu\u00ed le explicamos c\u00f3mo reabrir su caso."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Si no se present\u00f3 a su cita en el tribunal de inmigraci\u00f3n, probablemente haya recibido una orden de expulsi\u00f3n. Pero no se preocupe, esto no siempre significa que su caso haya terminado. En muchas situaciones, a\u00fan puede reabrir su caso y luchar contra la deportaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"p1\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo se puede reabrir un caso?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"p1\">Hay dos razones principales por las que el tribunal puede reabrir su caso:<\/p>\n<h6>1.) Tuviste circunstancias excepcionales.<\/h6>\n<p>Si recibi\u00f3 la notificaci\u00f3n pero no pudo asistir por motivos graves y ajenos a su voluntad, es posible que a\u00fan pueda reabrir el caso.<\/p>\n<p>Algunos ejemplos de circunstancias excepcionales son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Una emergencia m\u00e9dica o una hospitalizaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Fallecimiento de un familiar cercano (c\u00f3nyuge, hijo o padre).<\/li>\n<li>Violencia dom\u00e9stica o maltrato<\/li>\n<li>Malos consejos o errores de tu abogado<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>\u00a0Plazo:<\/strong> Debe presentar la solicitud dentro de los 180 d\u00edas siguientes a la orden de expulsi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"p1\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si se enterara de la orden de expulsi\u00f3n a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s?<\/h5>\n<p class=\"p1\">A veces, las personas no saben que se les orden\u00f3 su expulsi\u00f3n hasta mucho m\u00e1s tarde.
